Traps
The OMRGC Trap Shooting League starts the first Monday in June and runs for ten weeks, Monday evenings at 6:00pm excluding long weekends. To participate in the league a membership to the club is required, an additional fee of $100 for adults and $50 for youth (15yrs and under) is also required. The league fee covers your targets and prizes for the league. Each Monday night you will shoot one round from the 16yd line and one round from the calculated handicap yardage. League teams are selected by the league coordinator.
Participants of all abilities and experience are welcome! The teams are selected and balanced in such a way as to make for a fair competition!
At the end of the league season, there is a BBQ and award presentation held at the club on the last Monday of league.
Trap practice is every Thursday evening starting at 6:30pm weather permitting. Practice is open to the public and a round of trap costs $6.50 per round, ammunition not included. Shoot cards are available at the cost of $65 per card and are good for 16 rounds.
Youth (15 and under) who have a club membership get free targets all season!
Some members meet Sunday Afternoons to practice as well but as this is not a scheduled practice, it is best to contact those members to see if there will be anyone out at the range.
The Trap machines are only available for use at the above times.
